She and her family have lived in Hong Kong since 1984. In 2006 she enrolled at the Hong Kong International Film Academy. She wrote and directed three films which won awards around the world. 1. Maxim Bessmertnyi![]() Born in Russia to concert pianist Gala Bessmertnaia and revered painter and sculptor Konstantin Bessmertnyi, Maxim moved to Macau at the age of four. Currently working towards a Masters Degree in Film Directing at NYU Tisch Asia in Singapore. In 2013 Maxim founded Pontus Maximus Productions. It is an artistic platform for filmmakers to create visual works that innovate and re-define the contemporary film establishment. Beatrice Di Caro![]() Beatrice Di Caro Born in Hong Kong in 1993, Beatrice Di Caro grew up in an international environment. Having an Italian father and a French/English mother, she was able to grow up surrounded by many different cultures and therefore is able to speak 5 languages (French, Italian, English, Spanish and Chinese). This is mainly what has sparked her to become a photojournalist. After living 18 years in Hong Kong, she moved to London in 2011 to start an ABC Diploma Course in Photography at London College of Communications which she finished successfully.
