The Hong Kong 48 Hour Film Project is returning in 2013
The 48 Hour Film Project will return to Hong Kong in 2013, probably around October. Filmmakers from all over the Hong Kong area will compete to see who can make the best short film in only 48 hours. The winning film will go up against films from around the world for the title "Best 48 Hour Film of 2013".
Juliane's film making career started in Germany as special FX make-up artist on an underground Zombie flick ("Mutation", released on DVD in 1999) followed by producer & screenwriter credits on several other shorts (e.g. "Killerbus", released on DVD in 2004). Even though she had a design masters from the university of art in Braunschweig, she continued with film making.
In 2005 she migrated to Asia to pursue Asian cinema and has directed a low budget feature in 2008 ("Emperor", shot for US$ 2000), more than 10 shorts (as of January 2011) which have been screened at film festivals around the world and her 2nd feature ("Kinks") is in post.
Juliane has lived in Germany, Hong Kong, Malaysian and Indonesia.
